So, I meant to post this a long time ago, but never typed it until just now.
On October 1, 2011 was my sister’s 19th birthday and one of my friend’s 18th birthday. That evening there was a BBQ at my Grandma and Grandpa’s church with the Chosen Ones singing, followed by my friends dance party and sleepover. That entire day I had been working on 80 chemistry problems and studying for Mondays test, however I was not getting much accomplished in solving any homework problems. I was so frustrated and wanted to attend the event, but I knew I would not get my school stuff done if I went. My mom said I needed a break from working all day on it. She tried to encourage me and said, “Do you remember saying to your friends on the swim team that all things are possible with God? That is the same thing with this situation.” I told her, “Yes, but that was swimming and this is chemistry.” Mom just shook her head and said, “So, you think God can’t handle this?” I then responded by saying, “No, I know what you mean, but this is just harder stuff.” After a little while, I quit and said that I just needed to take some time for the Lord and the chemistry probably would not get finished. I went to the concert and walked in the church doors to find their booth set up with CDs, and even a T-shirt saying, "When God is on your side all things are possible Luke 11:37." We got that shirt along with their new CD "Nothing Impossible." I knew that the Lord was speaking to me then. I am so glad that I went. Everything that was spoken and sang was such a blessing to me. In the end the Lord helped me to actually get the homework and quiz done exactly 1 minute before the dead line, and He even helped me on the test.

God is good. "All things are possible with God." Philippians 4:13
